Asthma
Who would have thought that posture could have anything to do with asthma, but based on the communication pathway between the brain and the lungs posture can have everything to do with it. In the chiropractic world this location on the spine is called a transition zone where the nerve passes. When we see people with their head protruding forward in front of the body they are much more susceptible to asthma because of added pressure on that nerve. Chiropractic care can help these individuals by helping with postural corrections. Chiropractic is effective with other asthma cases as well, even if a posture problem is not present. |
